Healing /Encouragement Scriptures

Genesis 26:19 - 22

God will make room for us, and we shall be fruitful in the land when others have pushed us out.

Psalm 103:1-3

Bless affectionally, gratefully praise) the Lord, O my soul; and all that is [deepest] within me, bless His holy name! Bless (affectionately, gratefully praise) the Lord, O my soul, and forget not [one of] all His benefits—Who forgives [every one of] all your iniquities, Who heals [each one of] all your diseases.

Psalm 118:17 - I shall not die but live, and shall declare the works and recount the illustrious acts of the Lord.

Psalm 147:3 - He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds [curing their pains and their sorrows].

Exodus 23:25 - You shall serve the Lord your God; He shall bless your bread and water, and will take sickness from your midst.

James 5:14-15 - Is anyone among you sick? He should call in the church elders (the spiritual guides). And they should pray over him, anointing him with oil in the Lord’s name. And the prayer [that is] of faith will save him who is sick, and the Lord will restore him; and if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven.

 Confession for physical healing:

“I know that it’s God’s will for me to be healthy and whole. I praise the Lord and thank Him for healing all of my diseases as I put my faith and trust in Him.”

Confession for Emotional/Mental Healing –

I have peace, power, love, and a calm and well balanced Mind because I trust God. I don’t worry about anything, - instead, I pray about everything and God blesses me by giving me His Peace. 2 Timothy 1:7

I pray that you may enjoy good health and that all may go well with you, even as your soul is getting along well." 3 John 1:2

"A cheerful heart is good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones." Proverbs 17:22

"Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective." James 5:16

"He himself bore our sins” in his body on the cross, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; “by his wounds you have been healed.” 1 Peter 2:24

"LORD my God, I called to you for help, and you healed me." Psalm 30:2

"Have mercy on me, LORD, for I am faint; heal me, LORD, for my bones are in agony." Psalms 6:2

"The LORD protects and preserves them— they are counted among the blessed in the land - he does not give them over to the desire of their foes. The LORD sustains them on their sickbed and restores them from their bed of illness." ~ Psalms 41:2-3

"Jesus called his twelve disciples to him and gave them authority to drive out impure spirits and to heal every disease and sickness…Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse those who have leprosy, drive out demons. Freely you have received; freely give." Matthew 10:1,8

"And a woman was there who had been crippled by a spirit for eighteen years. She was bent over and could not straighten up at all. When Jesus saw her, he called her forward and said to her, “Woman, you are set free from your infirmity.” Then he put his hands on her, and immediately she straightened up and praised God." Luke 13:11-13.

"While I am in the world, I am the light of the world.” After saying this, he spit on the ground, made some mud with the saliva, and put it on the man’s eyes. “Go,” he told him, “wash in the Pool of Siloam” (this word means “Sent”). So the man went and washed, and came home seeing. His neighbors and those who had formerly seen him begging asked, “Isn’t this the same man who used to sit and beg?” Some claimed that he was. Others said, “No, he only looks like him.” But he himself insisted, “I am the man.” “How then were your eyes opened?” they asked. He replied, “The man they call Jesus made some mud and put it on my eyes. He told me to go to Siloam and wash. So I went and washed, and then I could see.” John 9:5-11

Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; For You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me. Psalm 23:4

Now when Jesus had entered Capernaum, a centurion came to Him, pleading with Him, saying, “Lord, my servant is lying at home paralyzed, dreadfully tormented.”

And Jesus said to him, “I will come and heal him.” The centurion answered and said, “Lord, I am not worthy that You should come under my roof. But only speak a word, and my servant will be healed. For I also am a man under authority, having soldiers under me. And I say to this one, “Go,’ and he goes; and to another, “Come,’ and he comes; and to my servant, “Do this,’ and he does it.”
When Jesus heard it, He marveled, and said to those who followed, “Assuredly, I say to you, I have not found such great faith, not even in Israel! And I say to you that many will come from east and west, and sit down with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob in the kingdom of heaven. But the sons of the kingdom will be cast out into outer darkness. There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.” Then Jesus said to the centurion, “Go your way; and as you have believed, so let it be done for you.” And his servant was healed that same hour. Matthew 8:5 - 13
