During your late 20’s, 30’s and 40’s, you may have felt great, while conquering your world. You then began noticing how the birth dates were coming faster than you had noticed before. You start looking around, and noticed alarmingly, things had changed drastically in your world with being empty nesters, and now you are at a 4 way stop, wondering do I continue going ahead, or which way do I turn. What do you do now?
If you made it through all of the ups and downs of your life, and still have a sane mind, you are truly blessed! You may start thinking about putting into actions some things you have always wanted to do with the talents and skills given to you by God. You’ve always wanted to bring joy and happiness to others, and share some your life’s experiences with people, or there may be another burning desire in your heart, and you can hardly wait to explore those areas.
Or, is there a dismal feeling of regret of what you didn’t accomplish in your earlier years? Listen, you are alive with reasonable portion of health and strength, and there are always ways to be a help, enhancing the lives of others. Since we have been given gifts, talents, and skills by God, take a moment to reach way down and pull out your God given gift, Your gift is, and always will be with what’s in your hand. You will know what’s in your hand, because you love doing it, and it comes naturally to you… because you are anointed by God to do what you love doing. With that anointing, comes financial wealth, opened doors, that ordinarily would be closed to you. It could be just what someone is waiting for to help them move forth in life. Don’t allow age, disability, or anything else stop you: Even when they say you should be doing something of a greater caliber, keep you from passing what’s in your hands to others.
You are a special gift to the body of Christ, and you are worth more than your weight in Gold. Get up and keep moving. What is your Passion for the Works of the Lord, to help Mankind? If you have been blessed to grow older and wiser, use it fully for the Glory of the Lord, and for an enrichment and blessing to you. We don’t have to fit the image of “Oh, she/he is just old, mean, and hateful, No, we are part of the body of Christ - who Loves Jesus and are Doers of The Word of Christ.

As We Grow Older In The Lord, The Holy Spirit Molds Us More And More Into Becoming More And More Like Our Abba Father; And For Us Not To Use Our Age As An Excuse To Act Mean, Stubborn, And Hateful To Others. Amen? Amen!
