The Battle Cry Is Sounding – Can You Hear It?
Battle Cry – is a word or phrase shouted by soldiers (prayer warriors) going
Into battle to express solidarity and intimidate the enemy.
Scriptures to Reference in Your Battle Cry -
The Lord will go forth like a mighty man, He will stir up jealousy like a man of war: he shall cry, yea, roar; he shall prevail against his enemies. (Isaiah 42:13 KJV).
But Joshua had commanded the army, “Do not raise your voices, do not say a word until the day I tell you to shout. Then shout. (Joshua 6:10 KJV).
The great day of the LORD is near, it is near and hasteth greatly, even the voice of the day of the LORD: the mighty man shall cry there bitterly. Zephaniah 1:14 (KJV).
11 And Asa cried unto the Lord his God, and said, Lord, it is nothing with thee to help, whether with many, or with them that have no power: help us, O Lord our God; for we rest on thee, and in thy name, we go against this multitude. O Lord, thou art our God; let no man prevail against thee. King Asa of Judah in the war against Ethiopia. 2 Chronicles 14:11.
15 And he said, Hearken ye, all Judah, and ye inhabitants of Jerusalem, and thou king Jehoshaphat, Thus saith the Lord unto you, Be not afraid nor dismayed by reason of this great multitude; for the battle is not yours, but God's. Spoken by Jahaziel when Ammon, Moab, and mount Seir came against Judah. (2 Chronicles 20.15 (KJV).
17 Ye shall not need to fight in this battle: set yourselves, stand ye still, and see the salvation of the Lord with you, O Judah and Jerusalem: fear not, nor be dismayed; tomorrow go out against them: for the Lord will be with you. 18 And Jehoshaphat bowed his head with his face to the ground: and all Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem fell before the Lord, worshipping the Lord. (2 Chronicles 20: 17 – 18 (KJV).
20 And they rose early in the morning and went forth into the wilderness of Tekoa: and as they went forth, Jehoshaphat stood and said, Hear me, O Judah, and ye inhabitants of Jerusalem; Believe in the Lord your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.

As our days continue to unfold with great uncertainty, it makes most of us take notice to scriptures pertaining to end-time events, especially in the book of Daniels, Revelations, Habakkuk, and others. We need to be prepared and willing to sound the alarm of the coming back of our Lord and savior Jesus Christ. Being prepared by having on the whole armor of God, (which is God’s own armor), we are battle ready, and are marching towards the enemy, and not afraid. Our helmet protects our mind, the breast plate protects the heart matters.
Ask yourself these questions:
- In what way/s you are sounding the alarm?
- In what arena has been your passion for the saved and unsaved?
- How is your engagement being accomplished with the body of Christ, when it comes to encouraging, praying, and remaining vigilante through tough times?
- Has there been times you felt like giving up because of the atrocities you are seeing in our culture, many times without seemingly no consequence and great injustice?
- Do you think we as the salt and light in the earth can make a difference in these end time of devastations, wars, famines, rioting, etc., and still have peace?
- Are you ready for persecutions, or death? Count up the cost!!

Daniel 12:1 – 4, 6 - 13 (Amplified Bible (AMP)
The Time of the End
12 “Now at that [end] time Michael, the great [angelic] prince who stands guard over the children of your people, will arise. And there will be a time of distress such as never occurred since there was a nation until that time; but at that time your people, everyone who is found written in the Book [of Life], will be rescued.
2 Many of those who sleep in the dust of the ground will awake (resurrect), these to everlasting life, but some to disgrace and everlasting contempt (abhorrence).
3 Those who are [spiritually] wise will shine brightly like the brightness of the expanse of heaven, and those who lead many to righteousness, [will shine] like the stars forever and ever.
4 But as for you, Daniel, conceal these words and seal up the scroll until the end of time. Many will go back and forth and search anxiously [through the scroll], and knowledge [of the purpose of God as revealed by His prophets] will [greatly] increase.”
6 And one said to the man dressed in linen, who was above the waters of the river, “How long will it be until the end of these wonders?”
7 And I heard the man dressed in linen, who was above the waters of the river, as he held up his right hand and his left hand toward heaven and swore by Him who lives forever that it would be for a time, times, and a half a time (three and a half years); and as soon as they finish shattering and crushing the power of the holy people, all these things will be finished.
8 As for me, I heard, but I did not understand; so I said, “My lord, what will be the outcome of these things?”
9 And the angel said, “Go your way, Daniel, for the words are concealed and sealed up until the end of time.
10 Many will be purged, purified (made white) and refined, but the wicked will behave wickedly. None of the wicked shall understand, but those who are [spiritually] wise will understand.
11 From the time that the regular sacrifice [that is, the daily burnt offering] is taken away and the abomination of desolation is set up [ruining the temple for worship of the true God], there will be 1,290 days.
12 How blessed [happy, fortunate, spiritually prosperous] and beloved is he who waits expectantly [enduring without wavering for the period of tribulation] and comes to the 1,335 days!
13 But as for you (Daniel), go your way until the end [of your [d]life]; for you will rest and rise again for your allotted inheritance at the end of the age.”

24 And Jesus went out and departed from the temple: and his disciples came to him for to shew him the buildings of the temple.
And Jesus said unto them, See ye not all these things? verily I say unto you, There shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.
And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?
And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.
End Time Signs – Matthew 24: 5 – 27
For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many. Matthew 24:5.
Will hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.
For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.
All these are the beginning of sorrows.
Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake.
And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another.
Many false prophets shall rise and shall deceive many.
And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.
But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.

End Times Signs - 2 Timothy 3: 1 – 7, 12 – 13, King James Version (KJV)
This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.
For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,
Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,
Traitors, heady, high-minded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;
Having a form of godliness but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.
For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts,
Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.
Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.

End Time Signs - I Corinthians 6: 9 - 10
Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers themselves with mankind.
Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.
End Time Signs - Luke 21: 5 - 36
As some were talking about the [b]temple, that it was decorated with beautiful stones and consecrated offerings [of magnificent gifts of gold which were displayed on the walls and hung in the porticoes], He said,
“As for all these things which you see, the time will come when there will not be one stone left on another that will not be [c]torn down.”
They asked Him, “Teacher, when will these things happen? And what will be the sign when these things are about to happen?”
He said, “Be careful and see to it that you are not misled; for many will come in My name [appropriating for themselves the name Messiah which belongs to Me alone], saying, ‘I am He,’ and, ‘The time is near!’ Do not follow them.
When you hear of wars and disturbances [civil unrest, revolts, uprisings], do not panic; for these things must take place first, but the end will not come immediately.”
Things to Come
Then Jesus told them, “Nation will rise against nation and kingdom against kingdom.
There will be violent earthquakes, and in various places famines and [deadly and devastating] pestilences (plagues, epidemics); and there will be terrible sights and great signs from heaven.
“But before all these things, they will lay their hands on you and will persecute you, turning you over to the synagogues and prisons, and bringing you before kings and governors for My name’s sake.
This will be a time and an opportunity for you to testify [about Me].
So make up your minds not to prepare beforehand to defend yourselves;
for I will give you [skillful] words and wisdom which none of your opponents will be able to resist or refute.
But you will be betrayed and handed over even by parents and brothers and relatives and friends, and they will put some of you to death,
and you will be continually hated by everyone because of [your association with] My name.
But not a hair of your head will perish.
By your [patient] endurance [empowered by the Holy Spirit] you will gain your souls.
“But when you see Jerusalem surrounded by [hostile] armies, then understand [with confident assurance] that her complete destruction is near.
At that time, those who are in Judea must flee to the mountains, and those who are inside the city (Jerusalem) must get out, and those who are [out] in the country must not enter the city;
for these are days of vengeance [of rendering full justice or satisfaction], so that all things which are written will be fulfilled.
Woe to those women who are pregnant and to those who are nursing babies in those days! For great trouble and anguish will be on the land, and wrath and retribution on this people [Israel].
And they will fall by the edge of the sword and will be led captive into all nations; and Jerusalem will be trampled underfoot by the Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled (completed).
“There will be signs (attesting miracles) in the sun and moon and stars; and on the earth [there will be] distress and anguish among nations, in perplexity at the roaring and tossing of the sea and the waves, people fainting from fear and expectation of the [dreadful] things coming on the world; for the [very] powers of the heavens will be shaken.
Then they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with [transcendent, overwhelming] power [subduing the nations] and with great glory.
- Now when these things begin to occur, stand tall and lift up your heads [in joy], because [suffering ends as] your redemption is drawing
- Then He told them a parable: “Look at the fig tree and all the trees;
As soon as they put out leaves, you see it and know for yourselves that summer is near.
So you too, when you see these things happening, know [without any doubt] that the kingdom of God is near.
I assure you and most solemnly say to you, this generation [those living at that definite period of time preceding the second coming] will not pass away until [d]everything takes place.
Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will not pass away.
“But be on guard, so that your hearts are not weighed down and depressed with the giddiness of debauchery and the nausea of self-indulgence and the worldly worries of life, and then that day [when the Messiah returns] will not come on you suddenly like a trap;
For it will come upon all those who live on the face of all the earth.
But keep alert at all times [be attentive and ready], praying that you may have the strength and ability [to be found worthy and] to escape all these things that are going to take place, and to stand in the presence of the Son of Man [at His coming].”
There is great preparation for us when we are called to stand in the gap for others.
